Ewidi is a new tool and Ewidi is all about people, not information, it is the quickest way to connect with the rest of the world, a contact spot where you can search and publish what you want, to find and be found by others around the planet. You can imagine Ewidi as a free worldwide dynamic message board, a new kind of engine that deals with people instead of information. |

Ewidi is a new concept that goes beyond search engines. In Ewidi you can search, you can publish, you can interact, it is a new way of contacting and communicating with the people around us, a global pool where you can find others who are looking for you and you can tell the world what you are looking for and what you offer. |

You can use Ewidi in two different ways, publishing or/and searching.
If you want to be found by other people, to offer something to the world,
to organize an event or any other thing you can think of, simply enter your message in the
message box and optionally a location in the location box and press the publish button. That's all!
If you want to just search for people, events or anything else simply enter either
some keywords in the message box or a location in the location box or both of them
and press the search button. If you find an interesting message,
you can write to and interact with it's author. Play around, establish
connections, enjoy your Ewidi :) Searching options: When you search in Ewidi, both input boxes (The message one and the location one) are optional. This means that you can search for some keywords without specifying a location and also that you search for all content related to a location without specifying keywords in the message box. Publishing options: When you publish in Ewidi the message box is mandatory because obviously in order to publish you have to write whatever it is that you want to publish, but the location box continues being optional, you can publish something adding a location in the location box to make your publishing more specific or you can leave the location box empty and write only your message in the message box. |

Ewidi performs precise searches. If you obtained no result you can try again
using less keywords (Ewidi performs AND searches, using less keywords means
more results) and/or different keywords. Additionally, you can use the * symbol as a wildcard, so searching for fish* would also return messages with the words fishing or fisherman. You can also perform a phrase search, by typing quotations around a specific group of words, for example "beach football". During the Beta period of Ewidi the Ewidi database is constantly growing, we encourage you to publish new messages so that the searches people perform become more and more effective. |

At the login page of Ewidi you will find a checkbox with the text - remember me on this computer - , if you mark this checkbox and if your computer supports Cookies then a cookie will be stored in your hard disk. This cookie is encrypted and therefore totally safe. This way every time you return to Ewidi you won’t need to login again to access your - My Ewidi - area because Ewidi will read your cookie and will automatically log you in. This behaviour will continue as long as you don’t logout from Ewidi, if you use the - logout - link to exit your account then your cookie will be deleted from your computer and you will have to login again next time you try to access your - my ewidi - area or to publish a message. Therefore in summary , using the - remember me on this computer - feature allows you to use ewidi without having to log in each time you access the tool. |
